Twice over the Alps before ever I was born, my name is Hannah but when online I tend to go by Lunaed, or Eluned Francis. I like to live in the past or in other peoples' present. I live to travel and love to see the world from the perspective of others. I chew slowly, and absorb the world in much the same way: savouring it.

I find it strange, that our ‘nature’ should be so elliptical– although I scarcely hope to convey what I mean by this. We go full circle in the duration of our lives, much as we did the Earth when we first elected to circumnavigate the globe. Our understanding of situations is hinged upon the bank of experience and knowledge that we have to draw upon. The less we know, the more we are capable of understanding our station in life, albeit if only because we don’t seek to ask more questions.

Humanity has a penchant for nostalgia that almost outstrips its hunger for all that is new and unspoiled: a second chance. Such a restless dichotomy. Undoubtedly, they are but composites of the same desire; two separate hemispheres, which again form a whole, and so a circle. I jot sketchy ships, outline rigging and sails– now no less than when I was a child. Continuity, constantly, and always we start where we ended.
