Today saw the departure of Kyosuke for Europe, so now we are but two- or three, should you include little Eavie the puppy. Last week I said goodbye to Kyra and then Asier, but (re)gained a new recruit in John. John had volunteered on the site previously but in returning he was fulfilling a placement for his university course. It is a strange living arrangement in so much that people are constantly coming and going.
We were thrown together and the initial grouping of four worked quite well as a team; there were lots of quaint little family moments. We went on a lovely ‘family’ trip to the Brewery Tap, which I have written about in a lot more detail here, as well as a number of walks together and a visit to Gloucester to visit the Tall Ships.
I hope that everyone goes on to enjoy their upcoming adventures, and wish everybody luck in all of their future endeavours. I will miss playing Love Letters together, which was a hit in spite of the language barriers imposed by the old English style in which the rules leaflet was written. Asier, do you have a Baron by any chance?
